The house has maintained all furniture of the ancient housing of the area with characteristic water tank and farm yard, the real heart of the farmer life.
In the past, all the activities related to the agricultural production were carried out in the farm yard.

It also became the centre of the farmer’s social life where they used to gather after a hard day work to sing folk songs to the music of typical instruments.

In the evenings,farm families were sitting around the fireplace,in a warm and intimate atmosphere,and they started telling old ghost stories...they loved to get a little scared before going to sit down for a delicious hot dinner, cooked in the “pignatta”,a particular ancient pot.

“Casetta Ciociara” is equipped to provide its guests all comforts, but it also offers the chance to take a step back into the past, also thanks to the traditional cooking of Ciociaria, simple and delicious!

You can even try and personally cook a typical dish, using the ancient pots and kitchen utensils and cook it directly on the fire... just as they used to do in the past.

The family atmosphere is guaranteed by because we have only few beds available (4 at total)...just like a real family!
